Dissolved Air Floatation (DAF) System

A company which supplies waste water treatment system to end-users approached us and request us to build a Dissolved Air Floatation (DAF) System for them which will then be send out to the end user.

The DAF tank is used to remove suspended solids, oils and other contaminants via the use of air bubble floatation system. The air is dissolved into the water which is mix with the waste stream and released from the solution while in contact with the contaminants. The air bubbles which are formed are the attach to the solids which increases their buoyancy, floats onto the surface of the water where they are mechanically skimmed and removed from the tank. The sludge will be then transfer to a holding tank for further treatment while the effluent from the DAF System will go through a series of filtration and pH controller before it is released into the main drainage system.
